I’ve previously talked about my growing interest in curating things.

And this shows no sign of slowing down.

I now have Airtable databases for several aspects of my life, from recipes to books and even one for ‘how to convert a van’.

One database I’ve been building is a list of all the best UX & Product Design examples I find across the web and app world.

And I figured that sharing some of these snippets could be of use to others, so… 🥁

Here are my 3 favourite Product Design Finds of the week 👇️

Apple Store’s Sticky Buttons

As you scroll through an article in the App Store, a CTA to download the app will dynamically appear and stick to the bottom of the viewport. This gives the user an easy next step when they have read enough of the article. And the CTA is positioned within easy reach of the user's thumb, for both left and right handed people.

New Look’s Tinder-style outfit matcher

Shouts to my Product Manager for sending me this. New Look has a fun swipeable component on their app home screen to help customers easily discover new styles and build their wish list or basket.

NY Times Cooking’s Read More

We’ve all got mad at recipe blogs with huge essays about the recipe that we have to scroll past in order to find the ingredients and method. The NY Times Cooking app has a nice solution for this by only showing a hint of the recipe intro, and allowing the user to Read More if they wish.
