Morning all and congratulations on making it to the end of another week ✊
Last weekend I spent a very wet and windy couple of days riding around the Brecon Beacons in Wales. It was a bit of a frustrating weekend as the stereotypically Welsh weather made parts of the route impassable but still a worth while trip, the highlight of which was climbing up the Black Mountain road on both days.
Yesterday Georgia Alicia and I went to the Viva Vegan Festival in Wembley. We got to sample loads of interesting dishes including vegan doner kebabs, vegan mac n cheese and an amazing bacon double (vegan) cheeseburger. I’m still digesting a lot of it 24 hours later! 🤤
In case you missed it, this week on the blog I made cashew cheese sauce which you should definitely check out!. I’d recommending adding this sauce to everything you cook in future.
I also put together a list of high protein vegan smoothies to help you recover faster after a good workout.
Finally, on the subject of plant-based protein, I’ve been experimenting with some easy post-workout meal recipes which I’m looking forward to sharing with you guys soon.
